Another one bites the dust. Only 3 left now but they are all tough, Advanced Databases, Cryptography and Digital Signal Processing.
But then my furry friends I am on a mad one……yeah!!!!!!

First exam done, Sofware Metrics and OO design. It went well and I hope to get a first in it (fingers crossed). My next one is Multimedia which should be OK, I still have a bit to study on that.

THE TEACHER COMEBACK OF THE YEAR
A college teacher reminds her class of tomorrow's final exam. “Now class, I won't tolerate any excuses for you not being here tomorrow. I might consider a nuclear attack or a serious personal injury or illness, or a death in your immediate family but that's it, no other excuses
whatsoever!” A smart-ass guy in the back of the room raised his hand and asks, “What would you say if tomorrow I said I was suffering from complete and utter sexual exhaustion?” The entire class does its best to stifle their laughter and snickering. When silence is restored, the teacher smiles sympathetically at the student, shakes her head, and sweetly says, “Well, I guess you'd have to write the exam with your other hand.”

I am succumbing to the "art museum problem". This refers to the lack of memory because I am overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information I have recently tried to learn.

 Clamp Clamp Clamp. I parked at the corner of Dominick street upper and Upper Dorset Street yesterday (where my mam and I have parkerd many times before). I arrived back 3 hours later to find a big dirty yellow clamp attached to my back wheel, Nasty business to say the least. I had to pay €80 to get it released and it took nearly two hours for that to happen, The bloke who finally released the clamp told us that if we wrote and complained about the time we had to wait we might get our money back so we did. (The reason he said this is that the clamp is supposed to e relased within an hour of payment.)

Well 2003 is finally here. Exams start in 12 days, argh!!!!! (books haven't been touched yet but i'll be fine, I always am, and sure doesn't it all work out in the end eh?). Anyway Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all.

I keep a weblog at http://weblog.philroche.net (the one you are reading). I always get abuse from my mates for posting my weblog but they read it. I know they do, as I have seen the access log. But they still ask me, what's a weblog and why do you post one?, who would want to read a weblog that you write? (knowing full well that they themselves read it). So to answer these questions I'm going to write an essay. Another reason for writin the essay, is that I am very interested to find out the origin of weblog and how/why does it flourish despite it's many critics. I supppose the most pressing reason for writing the essay is that it is a project that is due on Friday of this week….

Well it seems that the licensing authority are going easier on the people sitting their tests…No I'm only messing. Peter (my brother) passed his theory test, Gary passed his driving test (I dont' think it was the first attempt) and Jean (Al Keogh's bird passed first time). All this happened in the last week. Well done to you all. I wish I passed first time….if only there was no law against sitting in the middle of junctions i'd have been fine. College is only going rasher these days with deadlines and end of semester getting nearer and nearer. Anyway Sya.
