"When you say: "I wrote a program that crashed Windows", people just stare at you blankly and say: "Hey, I got those with the system — for free." (Linus Torvalds)"

CSS: centering things
"A common task for CSS is to center text or images. In fact, there are three kinds of centering: * Centering lines of text * Centering a block of text or an image * Centering a block or an image vertically"
Float: The Theory
"If you are like most people, the whole issue of Floats is rather intimidating. The theory is difficult to grasp, and on top of that, the bugs are rumored to be numerous and nasty. Well fear not, because we will walk through the concepts, some of the bugs, and the practical uses of floats, in nice easy stages. Be assured that you will suffer no ill effects. Rather, a vast new world of positioning will open up before you. Onward!"
Float: The Bugs (The IE float model)
Float: The Bugs (The IE float model)
"If tables are used for layout purposes, Internet Explorer (IE) is the equal of any browser out there. But when it comes to CSS positioning, IE does some rather odd things. One of these things has to do with the way floats are handled."
Toshiba Libretto 100CT
I might have mentioned before but my dad has 2 Toshiba Librettos. One is the Libretto L5, a new machine that kicks ass, he also has an old Libretto 100ct. It is quite a few years old but still abolutely tiny. He loves the machine and is always using it for browsing intead of his other machines. It's so handy as it's not much bigger than a video casette. He was searching ebay one night and came across a 100ct for sale. He bid USD405 and won. It was delivered and duty paid (a ridiculous GBP80). It came with WIndows XP pre-installed but htis was very slow so I stuck Win 98SE on it and it is much faster[Minimum Hardware Requirements for a Windows 98 Installation]. It's a great laptop for surfing. I can carry it everywhere and it never gets in the way. A joy to use.
Review: Ten Extensions Enhance Firefox
Review: Ten Extensions Enhance Firefox
Firefox is taking the world by storm. Its preview release has already chalked up more than 5,000,000 downloads. And it's even begun (albeit in a small way) to have an impact on the market share of Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser. Firefox is clearly off to a great start and it certainly should be-it's a great browser.
From the same crowd that reviewed Aggreg8.
Styleselector
This extension adds a menu in the status bar from which you can choose between different stylesheets for a web page, assuming the page author has provided more than one. The icon next to the menu is greyed out when there are no alternate styles available.
As Firefox 1.0 has removed the alternate stylesheet selection feature, you can use this styleselector. Buit for Firebird but still works in Firefox :).

Skyzyx.com – Projects – Feed Parser
Feed Parser is an object-oriented parsing engine for syndicated news formats, written in JavaScript, that supports various the flavors of RSS and Atom 0.3. It is designed, and best suited for use in applications, written using the Mozilla Application Framework, that are in need of a parsing engine for RSS, Atom, and OPML.
Could come in handy in the next version of Aggreg8 (I keep meaning to release version 0.2 but never have the time to perfect it).
