"The Bug Report system is entirely dedicated to finding, mending and publishing CSS and JavaScript browser bugs. Anyone can report bugs, and I hope that the existence of this system will lead to more and better bug reports."

[brothercake] Image transitions
[brothercake] Image transitions
"These three scripts provide a range of cross-browser fade and wipe transitions, centered around an image change. They can be used to add a touch of class to regular image swaps, or possibly as components to more complex DHTML effects."

Firefox
When you're on your PC for minimum 9 hours a day, you sure as hell want a browser that you enjoy using and that doesn't crap out for no reason. Firefox is that browser. I have been using Gecko browsers for years from Mozilla 1.0-> Phoenix,->Firebird -> Firefox. I absolutely love it. I have all the extensions I could ever need and a few more to boot. (Aggreg8 of course too). The toolbar customization means that I have everything at my fingertips, from XHTML validation to javascript debugging. I have a super theme installed. A bookmark Sync extension to sync my home and work bookmarks. Firefox does crash evry now and then but that's acceptable as I never have less than 15 tabs open and constant feverish browsing and keyboard shortcuts being performed at all times. If you spend a ludicrous of time in your browser and you want to stay sane get Firefox.
I'll link to the extensions mentioned when I get home.
Content Negotiation
Content Negotiation @ The Autistic Cuckoo
"We have, for some time, tried to inform people about the fact that there is no point whatsoever in using XHTML as long as you serve the documents with a text/html media type. For those who still want to use XHTML and gain at least something for some users, we have recommended content negotiation. On several occasions people have asked us to publish a write-up on how to do that, but there hasn't been time to sit down and write it. Now, finally, we have tried to whip something together that we hope can serve as a guide."
